MECHANISM

The SP4 synchronous mechanism in the ErgoJunior chair is an ideal solution for school-aged children, as it provides dynamic support that adapts to the natural body movements during sitting, which is especially important during the growth period. The simultaneous (synchronous) tilt of the backrest and seat mimics the user’s back movements, offering proper support and reducing the risk of spinal issues during prolonged sitting, such as while studying. The movements enabled by the SP4 mechanism operate independently of the chair’s unique Flexi Move function.

Thanks to the four-position tilt lock, the child can easily adjust the chair to their needs, enhancing both comfort and concentration during study or relaxation. The backrest tension adjustment allows the chair to be tailored to the child’s weight, providing optimal comfort throughout years of use.

Additionally, the pneumatic seat height adjustment ensures the chair can be perfectly aligned with the desk and the child’s height, allowing the chair to “grow” with them. The Anti-Shock function protects against sudden backrest jolts when the lock is released, ensuring safety, especially with frequent use of the tilt lock.

Flexi Move Technology

The innovative Flexi Move technology, invented by Grospol, provides continuous support for a child’s back, whether during study or play. The advanced system of joints connecting the backrest to the ErgoJunior chair mechanism allows the backrest to move in multiple directions, adapting to the child’s dynamic body movements. With its flexible, multi-plane response, the chair continuously supports the spine, promoting proper posture development in young users. This technology minimizes pressure points, ensuring ergonomic and healthy seating.

The Flexi Move technology allows the user to decide when to activate the dynamic backrest feature. An aesthetically designed knob on the back of the chair makes it easy to unlock or lock this function, enabling the backrest to be adjusted according to the user’s needs and activities. This solution provides flexibility and comfort, making the chair ideal for both focused work and relaxation.

Backrest

The mesh backrest of the ErgoJunior chair, upholstered with certified Runner mesh, adapts perfectly to a child’s back, providing comfort and spinal support. The breathable mesh promotes proper air circulation, preventing overheating. Its unique string-like design adds a modern touch, while the ergonomic shape supports a healthy posture, ensuring comfortable and proper sitting throughout the day.

Seat

The seat of the ErgoJunior chair is made from high-density molded foam (70 kg/m³), ensuring long-lasting comfort. Upholstered with carefully selected fabrics that meet PN-EN 71-2:2021-05 safety standards, it guarantees both safety and comfort. The wide variety of textures and colors available allows for perfect customization to match any child’s room decor.

The ErgoJunior chair features both height and depth adjustments, allowing it to grow with the child and adapt to their increasing height. The large, easily accessible PRESS button located under the seat allows for quick depth adjustments, further enhancing the chair’s functionality and ensuring proper support during use.

The knob is available in two colors to choose from – orange and black. The PRESS button is color-matched to the knob.

Armrests

The ErgoJunior chair is equipped with 3D adjustable armrests, which ensure the correct positioning of the forearms and hands while working at a desk.

R10 Armrests:

• Height adjustment (up/down): Allows the armrests to be set at the right height so that the forearm forms a 90-degree angle with the torso, reducing strain on back muscles during long periods of sitting. The height adjustment range is 7.5 cm.
• Forward/backward adjustment: The armrest pad can be adjusted forward or backward to fit the length of the forearm, with a range of 4 cm.
• Angle adjustment: The armrest pad can be tilted up to 15 degrees, making it easier to type on a keyboard or get up from the chair.

These adjustable armrests help provide ergonomic support, promoting comfort and reducing strain during work or study.

Base

The ErgoJunior chair features a five-star, black nylon mobile base. It comes standard with 60 mm soft casters, making it ideal for hard surfaces such as parquet, panels, or tiles, ensuring smooth and safe movement without damaging the flooring.

Warranty

The product comes with a 3-year warranty, provided through a door-to-door service for your complete convenience and peace of mind.
