Mechanism

The Ergohuman 2 Basic chair is equipped with a synchronized self-balancing mechanism. Upon releasing the lock, the backrest tilts in synchronous motion with the seat, mimicking the user’s movements in the chair. The backrest tilt movement follows the user’s back more noticeably and swiftly than the seat movement. At any moment, it is possible to lock the backrest and seat in one of the five tilt positions. The mechanism also allows for seat depth adjustment, enabling the user to customize the distance from the backrest. This feature ensures that the backrest functions are accessible for both tall and short users, while preventing any discomfort on the front part of the seat.

The Ergohuman 2 Basic office chair has the ability to adjust the height and depth of the seat. The depth adjustment range is 50 mm.

Adjusting the depth and height, unlocking the rocking mechanism and locking the selected tilt position come down to one functional joystick.

Backrest

The backrest is equipped with a 6-step height adjustment, thanks to which the chair will also work well for tall users.

Lumbar support

The independent and flexible lumbar section responds to the user’s movements in the chair, providing consistent support to the spine. Similar to the Elite 2 model, the Basic 2 version allows for adjusting the resistance force of the lumbar support through a dial located at the back of the backrest.

2D headrest adjustable in 2 planes:

Armrests

3D armrests, adjustable in 3 planes:

Height adjustment: allows for ergonomic positioning of the forearm, relieving back muscles during prolonged work.

The durable, aluminum mobile base is equipped with soft wheels that reduce the wear of hard surfaces (parquet, panels, terracotta).
