Mechanism

The Milo BT RB chair is equipped with the advanced SP2 synchro mechanism, which ensures synchronized movement of the backrest and seat. The backrest moves faster and at a wider angle than the seat, supporting the body’s natural motion and helping to maintain proper posture during work. The mechanism allows you to lock the tilt angle in four different positions, letting the user adjust it to their preferred position. The backrest tilt resistance can be manually adjusted using a knob. The built-in AntiShock function prevents the backrest from slamming into the user’s back when the lock is released. Additionally, the seat depth can be adjusted within a 5 cm range, and the height is smoothly controlled via a pneumatic lift. The RB version features an extended seat height adjustment range, making it ideal for elevated workstations.

Backrest

The backrest of the Milo BT RB chair is made of cut foam with a thickness of 40 mm and a density of approximately 25 kg/m³, providing comfortable lumbar support and optimal elasticity. It is fully upholstered in your choice of fabric from a wide range of colors and textures. The adjustable backrest height allows users to align it with their body proportions, offering ergonomic support even during long hours of sitting.

Seat

The seat is built on a durable plywood base and filled with 40 mm thick foam with a density of about 35 kg/m³. With a depth adjustment range of 5 cm, users can tailor the seat to their height and workstation position, helping to avoid pressure under the knees and ensuring proper blood circulation. The upholstery is available in a wide selection of fabrics with high abrasion resistance (up to 150,000 Martindale cycles), ensuring long-lasting comfort and appearance.

Armrests

The Milo BT RB chair offers two armrest options: R8 and R10. The R8 model allows for simple but effective height adjustment (up to 7 cm), helping to position the forearms ergonomically at a 90° angle to the torso, reducing shoulder and spine strain. The R10 model features advanced 3D adjustability: in addition to height adjustment (75 mm), it allows front-back movement (up to 40 mm) and tilting of the armrest pad (±15°), enabling even more personalized support.

Base and Footring (RB)

The RB version is equipped with a durable black five-star nylon base and a stable, height-adjustable footring (Ring Base) that provides foot support when seated at a higher position. This setup is ideal for high desk environments, reception counters, or elevated work surfaces. By default, the chair is supplied with glides instead of castors, but users can optionally add soft 60 mm castors (fi11), suitable for panels, parquet, and hard flooring—designed to avoid surface damage.
