Mechanism

The Futura 4S Plus Grey chair is equipped with a modern Synchro SELF mechanism that enables synchronized tilting of the seat and backrest. The backrest moves faster and at a greater angle than the seat, supporting natural body movement. The mechanism allows you to lock the chair in any selected recline position, ensuring optimal support at every stage of work. The system automatically adjusts the resistance force to the user’s weight, eliminating the need for manual adjustment. The built-in Anti-Shock function protects the back from sudden impact when the backrest lock is released. An additional advantage is the smooth height adjustment of the seat via a pneumatic lift.

Backrest

The backrest is made of durable mesh with a fabric overlay, offering excellent abrasion resistance (150,000 Martindale cycles) and outstanding air circulation. This ensures the chair remains comfortable even during warmer months. The Plus version offers height adjustment of the backrest within a 65 mm range, with the ability to lock it in five positions – significantly increasing ergonomic comfort, especially for users taller than 190 cm.

An integral part of the backrest is the adjustable lumbar support, which supports the lower spine. The rear of the backrest is also equipped with a practical clothes hanger.

Headrest

The Futura 4S Plus Grey model includes a 3D adjustable headrest that allows you to adjust its height, depth, and tilt angle. This enables optimal positioning of head support during both work and relaxation. The new depth adjustment function enhances user comfort and allows for better alignment with the neck’s shape.

Seat

The seat is made using molded foam technology, which ensures long-term durability and resilience without deformation—even after many years of use. It is upholstered in your chosen fabric from a wide selection of high-durability materials. The seat depth adjustment (distance between backrest and seat edge) ranges up to 50 mm, allowing the chair to fit both shorter and taller users.

The model is also equipped with a unique firmness adjustment for the central part of the seat, controlled by an elegant knob—allowing users to fine-tune comfort to their personal preferences.

Armrests

The chair features 4D armrests with adjustments in four directions: height (70 mm range), depth (front–back), tilt angle of the armrest pad, and width (distance from the seat). This wide adjustment range enables ergonomic positioning of the arms while working—supporting proper posture, reducing shoulder and spine tension, and improving daily comfort. The pads can be tilted inward for easier typing or outward to facilitate standing up.

Base

The base is made of lightweight yet highly durable nylon in a stylish grey color. The construction is stable, durable, and elegant. As standard, the chair comes with soft castors that do not scratch surfaces—ideal for hardwood floors, panels, or carpets.
