Mechanism

The Nico office chair offers two advanced synchronous mechanisms to choose from:

The SYNCHRO SELF SF2 mechanism is an advanced system that provides high comfort by synchronizing the movement of the backrest and seat. The backrest tilts synchronously with the seat, meaning the backrest tilts at a greater and faster angle than the seat. This mechanism offers the option to lock the position in four different angles, allowing for perfect adjustment to the user’s preferences.

Key features of the SYNCHRO SELF SF2 mechanism:

• Backrest tilt range: from 90° to 110°, allowing flexible positioning for both work and relaxation.
• Seat tilt range: from 0° to 3°, providing proper hip support.
• Automatic adjustment of backrest tension, adapting to the user’s weight, ensuring optimal resistance without manual setting.
• Seat height adjustment via a pneumatic lift, providing easy and smooth height regulation.
• The AntiShock function prevents the backrest from slamming into the user’s back when unlocking, ensuring a smooth and safe return to an upright position.

The SYNCHRO SELF SF2 PLUS mechanism is an extended version of the SF2, enhanced with an additional seat depth adjustment. The “Plus” designation refers to the ability to adjust the seat depth to the user’s height, making it especially recommended for taller users, ensuring optimal thigh support and comfort during long periods of sitting. Other features, such as synchronized reclining of the backrest and seat, automatic tension adjustment, four lockable positions, and the AntiShock function, remain the same as in the standard SF2 model.

Armrests

The Nico chair offers two types of armrests to choose from:

R1 Armrests

The R1 armrests are adjustable in three dimensions, allowing for maximum customization to the user’s needs:

• Height adjustment: 70 mm up and down, enabling the armrests to be set to the ideal height.
• Forward-backward adjustment: 60 mm, allowing the user to move the armrest forward or backward based on personal preference.
• Angle adjustment of the armrest pad: +/- 15 degrees, providing comfortable arm support in various sitting positions. The R1 armrests feature a soft polyurethane pad for added comfort.

R6 Armrests

The R6 armrests offer height adjustment of 70 mm, allowing the height to be customized to the user’s preference. Like the R1, they are equipped with a soft polyurethane pad, providing comfortable arm support.

The choice between these two models depends on the need for more flexible adjustments (R1) or a simpler, more basic function (R6).

Backrest

The mesh backrest of the Nico WS chair is upholstered with black String mesh, offering excellent breathability, which enhances comfort even during extended use. The flexible mesh structure adjusts perfectly to the natural curve of the back, providing optimal support.

The chair is also equipped with an adjustable lumbar profile, which can be customized up and down, allowing the lumbar support to be perfectly aligned with the user’s needs. This feature is particularly important for taller individuals, offering optimal lower back support, preventing back pain, and improving posture during work.

Seat

The seat of the Nico chair is crafted from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and comfort. It consists of 10 mm thick beech plywood and upholstery foam with a density of around 35 kg/m³, ensuring resilience and long-lasting comfort.

The seat is upholstered in a wide range of fabrics and colors, offering plenty of options to tailor the chair’s look to the user’s preferences.

In the PLUS version, the seat comes with depth adjustment, allowing customization from 460 mm to 510 mm, making it especially beneficial for users of different heights. The seat is also generously sized, measuring 480 mm, ensuring plenty of space and comfort during use.

Base

The Nico WS chair offers two base options to suit different aesthetic and functional preferences:

• White base (White) made of durable nylon, characterized by a modern, minimalist appearance and high durability.
• Chrome base (Chrome) made from polished aluminum, giving the chair an elegant, glossy look while ensuring structural strength and stability.

The chair is equipped with 60 mm diameter wheels, designed to protect delicate surfaces like parquet and laminate floors, preventing scratches. These wheels also perform well on carpets, ensuring smooth and stable movement.

Warranty

The chair comes with a 3-year warranty, featuring door-to-door service for your complete convenience and peace of mind.
